Hi there, We are Nat Wheeler and Kristy Sadlier – the besties behind norsu interiors :)
After a chance meeting in 2011 at our local Mother’s Group, we not only shared the experience of becoming new mums, but we soon discovered a mutual admiration with Scandinavian design. After obsessing over too many Scandi blogs and interior mags (Instagram was barely known back then!), one common theme kept emerging – the lack of access we had to purchase these beautiful products in Australia.
It was not long before we decided to set up our own online store, and norsu.com.au was launched in late 2013. Norsu (Finnish for elephant) began by specialising in mostly emerging designers from the Nordic region, and we were thrilled to see that so many of you also embrace the designs we loved so much!
A year later, we were beyond excited to open our first bricks and mortar retail store and artLAB in East Malvern, Victoria, and have seriously not stopped since. Nothing makes us happier than meeting so many of our beautiful customers from all over the world in our store every day.
Our love for interiors and design has seen us dive into other fun projects including renovating Nat's home (the norsuHOME), which led us to branch out into interior styling services and our norsuHOME styleLAB in 2019.
Our look has evolved over the years to incorporate our signature pastel colour palette, evoking feelings of comfort and cosiness.
One thing that has not changed is our mission is to provide you with unique and exclusive affordable art and homewares that transform your house into a home and leave you loving where you live.
When not wearing our norsu hats, we love nothing more than spending precious time with our families and little people Annabel, Harvey and Lachy, who also happen to be self-confessed 'best friends'.

With a background in Fashion, an incredible passion for Interior Styling and Product Merchandising teamed with a Serious Love affair for Colour (and LOADS of it) – in 2012 Sarah took a leap of faith and created her dream of opening her very own homewares store, and so, Mynd Interiors was born.
The store is inviting yet bold and full of personality (just like us!!). Our store is filled with beautiful things to make your heart sing and it's hard for something not to make it’s way home with you after visiting!
